Does the Android Gospel Library come with all the same components as the LDS app I have on my iPod? i.e. manuals, leadership handbook, etc?

The Roku Mormon Channel is now in the Roku Channel Store. New content is being added each day and we are planning on making Oct. General Conference live. We would love to hear your feedback.

I just added the channel and I'm looking forward to using my Roku to show quick messages for family home evening and watching conferences as well. As for the choppiness you have mentioned, I can tell you that I also ran into that watching it via a computer almost every conference so it sounds like it is at least as good as what the computer can offer which is acceptable and a welcome option!

The resolution drop only happened to me a couple times, but I really can't complain. Nothin like sitting home watching conference.

It was a bit choppy at times and the resolution would sometimes drop down to probably 480p, but by and large it looked like gorgeous 1080p.

I loved it!

A big thank you to all those who worked to pull this off!

I've tried posting this before so I'll do it again, If you want to watch tomorrow, just add Mormon Channel through the privet channel option when you log onto Roku.com. The code is byurocks.

Nice write up. We actually cut out cable earlier this year.

I've made a <a href="http://slightlyinsightful.com/2011/01/30/cutting-out-cable/" rel="nofollow">couple</a> of <a href="http://slightlyinsightful.com/2011/02/12/the-great-streaming-media-experiment-of-2011/" rel="nofollow">posts</a> about it on my blog.

We went with a Roku XDS with Netflix and Hulu Plus.

So far, no real complaints. We miss a few CBS and TNT shows, but no enough to make us fork over $60+ for cable.

Thank you for sharing! I just stumbled across the Mormon Channel for Roku.

If you're using it to watch conference today (2 April) be sure to go to the Roku Channel Store, let it load, and then go back to the Roku Homescreen. This will cause the latest version of the Mormon Channel to load (ver 1.9).
